K&N G8 & SS 63 Series Aircharger Kit

A few years back Pontiac decided to restore its reputation as GM’s High-Performance brand. Pontiac has seen much success with their line of G8 models. The G8 brings back the V8 power and rear wheel drive once missing from Pontiac’s new car offerings. A mechanical twin of the highly successful Holden Commodore sedan, the G8 rivals full size competitors from Chrysler as well as automakers in Germany. Helping restore Pontiac’s performance heritage even more is K&N's Air Intake System part 63-3071 for the 2008-2009 G8 GT 6.0 liter V8 engine.

Performance Air Intake System 63-3071 helps fire up an already impressive sport sedan with a nearly 12 horsepower increase at the rear wheels. K&N’s Research and Development Department tested a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT 6.0L V8 on our in-house dynamometer. Results showed an increase across the RPM range with a dramatic peak horsepower gain of 11.88 horsepower @ 4,691 RPM! K&N’s 63-3071 provides increased performance while maintaining that “O/E” look with a rotationally molded high-density polyethylene tube.

K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten airflow. This K&N air filter performs for up to 100,000 miles before service is required depending on driving conditions. Improving the air path between the filter and the engine is the rotationally molded high-density polyethylene tube. It offers the most flexibility in design and outstanding horsepower numbers.
