K&N Trailblazer SS FIPK Induction

It’s easy to think of a Corvette V8 when you think of the Chevrolet Trailblazer SS. The SUV packs a Corvette-derived 6.0 liter V8 that can handle a zero-to-sixty acceleration in 5.7 seconds. Take a look at our 57-3061 features video to see dyno testing in progress. K&N Engineering has developed a performance air intake system (57-3061) that is street legal in 50 states for the 2006 and 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer 6.0 liter V8 engine. K&N dynamometer testing shows a 19.18 horsepower gain at 5330 rpm.

K&N was able to get the additional horsepower by replacing the restrictive original factory air box with an aerodynamic designed air intake. The design of the intake's heat shield directs cooler outside air toward the K&N chrome top air filter (RF-1032). This specially designed heat shield isolates the K&N air filter from the engine heat. The air intake fits into the engine compartment using factory holes and mounting points.
